The Pathways project aims to build the capacity of social workers and child protection professionals to support children and young people who are potential victims of trafficking. It comprises partners from European NGOs including the British Red Cross, the Italian Red CrossSave the Children Italy, and ECPAT UK.

ECPAT UK's role includes developing and delivering training on identifying and responding to potential child victims of trafficking so that frontline workers are better equipped to safeguard vulnerable children. We will also share our model of ethical youth participation with another UK NGO so that young people outside of London can take part and receive peer support.

Our youth participation model focuses on helping young victims recover from exploitation and live happy healthy lives while enabling them to have their voice heard by policymakers and professionals, become advocates for themselves and their peers, and become agents for social change.
