Every Child, Everywhere is a free e-learning course developed by ECPAT UK and ABTA - The Travel Association.

This e-tool is aimed towards travel industry professionals and students of travel and tourism, and aims to get you thinking about some of the key issues in child protection in the travel industry.

Child Trafficking: ECPAT UK Training Programmes on Safeguarding Children

ECPAT UK provides training on safeguarding child victims of trafficking for practitioners who work with or make decisions about children, or anyone who may come across children at risk of trafficking.

Our courses range from introductory to specialist subject areas and can be tailored to meet the needs of the group. ECPAT UK training workshops promote a multi agency approach, are inclusive, participatory and designed to encourage information sharing between individuals and organisations. ECPAT UK training follows the safeguarding framework for training as laid out in Working Together (2006).

Child Trafficking: Introductory Course for Community and Faith Groups
You will gain an understanding of how to identity and safeguard child victims of trafficking within your community and how to respond to concerns using limited resources.

Level 2

Child Trafficking: Introductory Course on
Safeguarding Children
This one day course is designed for those with some knowledge of safeguarding children. The course will give you basic knowledge of the issues surrounding children who may have been trafficked, into and within the UK. You will gain a better understanding of how to identify, protect and and support child victims of trafficking.

Level 3

Child Trafficking: Advanced Course on
Safeguarding Children
This course builds on the introductory course and develops understanding of specific practice issues including risk   assessment models, age assessments and missing children. The course will further develop your understanding of the special protection and care needs of child victims of trafficking.

Child Trafficking: Training for Trainers
This course is designed for those who deliver training to others. You will be expected to have a sound knowledge of ‘Working Together 2006’. You will be given a training manual, materials and access to ongoing support from ECPAT UK to assist in developing your own training programme on child trafficking.

Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Tourism: ECPAT UK Training Programme

ECPAT UK provides training to the travel and tourism industry on developing policy and practical measures to protect children from sexual exploitation. Training is available to hotels, tour operators, travel agents and others interested in ethical and sustainable tourism.

ECPAT UK has joined forces with ABTA - The Travel Association - and launched a new e-learning training course on child protection in the travel industry. ÔEvery Child, EverywhereÕ was developed by ABTA and ECPAT UK to improve travel industry professionals understanding of child protection issues.

ÔEvery Child, EverywhereÕ aims to ensure that travel industry staff are well equipped to deal with any problems that might arise and to help companies develop policies and procedures which will best protect children in destinations or when they are travelling.

The training course is also of relevance to students of travel and tourism and is free. It can be accessed at: www.everychildeverywhere.com.
